Is the SA Government serious about its Incentive Programmes?

We believe the dti, who administer many of the various SA Government Incentive schemes, is focused more on ensuring due process than evaluating applications on merit. The central spirit of these programmes, namely encouraging sustainable investment and employment, is lost in the myriad of Government red tape - enforcing adherence to (in many instances, impractical) rules and regulations. The upshot is that valid, viable projects are being rejected on technicalities, instead of being approved on merit.

Share your views with us!
